Ghost Recon Breakpoint — Easy First Person Mod

Remade and improved using Codex.

A streamlined, body-aware first-person experience for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, designed around one idea:

First person should not be a pain in the ass to install.

HOWEVER NEXUS SEEMS DETERMINED TO MAKE IT SUCH SO MY MODS WILL BE HOSTED ON MY PATREON FOR FREE CAUSE NEXUS IS IRRITATING. MOD LINK HERE.

No separate camera fix. No custom launch options. No manually replacing files. No digging through Breakpoint's installation directory. No complicated external setup.

Set up Breakpoint in Vortex → drop in the mod → choose your FOMOD options → hit Play → done.

PLEASE READ — Author's Note

Before anything else, I want to make something very clear:

I am NOT trash-talking the creators of the original Breakpoint first-person mods.

Quite the opposite.

I think their work is great, and what they managed to accomplish is honestly kind of awesome.

The people who originally figured this stuff out deserve credit for demonstrating what was possible with Ghost Recon Breakpoint and creating the first-person solutions that came before this one.

My problem was never:

“Their mods suck.”My problem was:

“I really don't want to deal with all of this setup.”There can be a lot involved with some existing methods: modifying files, dropping files into particular places, replacing things, setting launch options, installing separate fixes, and figuring out exactly what needs to go where. Some of that also isn't explained particularly clearly for somebody who has never done it before.

I didn't want to deal with it.

So rather than complain about it, I used Codex.

I basically told Codex what I wanted, described the features and behavior I wanted the mod to have, and had it build an implementation focused on making the entire process extremely simple.

And now you have this mod.

This isn't meant to diminish the work of the original modders. Their work is what inspired this project in the first place.

Think of Easy First Person Mod as:

“The existing community did something awesome. I wanted an easier way to get that kind of experience running, so I made one.”That's it.
