4.8 Ton 32L V16 All-American Ute

Made out of steel, everything out of steel, this huge strange looking truck is powered by a 1000 horsepower V16 engine turning 4000 rpm and putting down nearly 3000Nm of torque to the crank. This is passed through a 4 speed automatic slushbox, shifting slowly into the high speed gears as long as you've got the gas pressed down. Its got a wobbly solid rear axle, so you better be gentle with steering, and it features a complete interior with (fake) mirrors, switches, digital dashboard, lights to tell you what is currently on or off, and levers galore for everything you can control in the vehicle. I'm particularly proud of the steering column. This beast can handle up to 7 tons of material in the bed, but it works better if most of that weight is toward the front of the short bed which hangs over and well behind the rear axle due to its crew-cab 6-seater design. Edit: The 27kg custom ball joints in the rear suspension have been replaced by the CV/Ball trick to make it lighter and more stable, and likewise ball joints were inserted into the tandem steering shaft to prevent clanging. Also, the grip was adjusted on the dually wheels to prevent flipping at speed and generally make it more stable.
