5, 6, & 7 speed gearboxes

Display and demonstration of my sequential transmissions all based on the same principle. I discovered that 12-tooth and 16-tooth gears can both mesh with the 8-tooth gear at the same distance, and figured out how to chain these 3 gears together in a relatively compact package to achieve a pretty decent range of gears. Remove the pink angle bars to separate the gearbox stands. WASD controls drive servo and the shifting stepper motor. The only driven gear in each transmission is the yellow 8-tooth gear. Each adjacent red 8-tooth gear is free spinning, powered from the yellow gear by a locked 12:16 gear pair that either increases or decreases the gear speed. Each next red gear in either direction is then increased or decreased again by another locked 12:16 gear pair. The top end and low gear ratios can be changed really quickly by making the yellow gear free spinning and instead locking a different red 8-tooth gear to the power input shaft. The blue output shaft is connected to the red driving gears by the white transfer gear that is translated forward and back with a stepper motor These are powered by small servos so the moving gears are easier to see. The small motors and screens measure and display the output RPM over the input RPM. Please rip them off the stands and use them, dismantle them, and try to improve them.
