gm_cessation

For those who have the courage to venture through the ruins of the neglected Nova Prospekt, welcome to gm_cessation. Introduction gm_cessation is a remodeled version of Half Life 2's Nova Prospekt. I admired its environment and its nearly-devastated structure which inspired me to recreate those things into a map. The map contains these notable features: AI Ground Nodes for all in-bound areas 3D Skybox Lighting and fog effects for improving the Nova Prospekt atmosphere Cubemap reflections A Combine Depot Scripted events Vents (Breakable vents to stealthily bypass some rooms and hallways) Unique soundscapes Dev Room (For use with activating certain events; located near the dark basement as a separate part of the map) Hidden easter eggs Note: This map does not require any games to be mounted. For the Dev Room, there are three buttons, each pertaining to a specific function: The left button says "Antlion Spawner." it toggles the antlions to spawn from the burrows. The middle button triggers the Nova Prospekt theme from Half Life 2. It was created to intensify the scenery of the map. The right button says "Activate Barrier." it activates the Combine Wall scripts in the wrecked exterior portion of the map. Conclusion This map has taken me several months to complete and is my first map to be uploaded to the workshop. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
