Horizon Overhaul Reshade is a handcrafted ReShade preset collection for Forza Horizon 6, offering 18 distinct visual styles — from cinematic and photorealistic to vibrant, filmic, and minimalist. Every preset has been individually tuned to complement the game's lighting engine and color palette.

MAIN PRESETS

These two presets are the primary, fully-featured presets and represent the intended vision of this mod. Install at minimum one of these for the best experience.

★ PHOTOREALISTIC (Recommended)

The definitive preset. Combines FilmicTonemap (PD80), CAS sharpening, CinematicDOF with auto-focus, depth-based sharpening, film grain (lilium), Clarity2, and ArtisticVignette.

Delivers a natural, grounded look that makes Forza Horizon 6 feel like real footage.

★ PHOTOREALISTIC SOFT

A softer companion to the main preset. Identical shader stack but with gentler sharpening thresholds and warmer tonal output — more forgiving in bright outdoor environments and extended play sessions.

Filmic tonemapper paired with active Depth of Field. Ideal for photo mode and cinematic screenshots — subjects stay crisp while backgrounds blur naturally.

► FILM TONEMAP SHARP

Filmic base with DoF replaced by aggressive multi-layer sharpening (CAS + AdaptiveSharpen + FilmicSharpen). Maximum clarity at any speed, no depth buffer needed.

► VIBRANT BRIGHT

VividTone + MultiLUT + WatchDogs tonemapping + ContrastStretch + HQ4X. Saturated, energetic, and punchy — made for sunny open-world driving.

► VIBRANT DARK

Deeper, moodier variant. Crushes shadows harder and adds extra color contrast. Best for night racing and urban environments.
