Enhanced Color and Clarity (ReShade)

Enhanced Color and Clarity is a clean ReShade preset focused on improving the game’s color, clarity, contrast, lighting, road detail, wet-weather atmosphere, and overall image depth without making the game look overly filtered or unrealistic.

This preset was tuned while using HDR, but it can also be used without HDR. Results may vary depending on your monitor, brightness, HDR settings, and in-game video settings.

This download is only a ReShade preset / .ini file.

You need ReShade installed separately for it to work.

  Effects used

  The preset should automatically select the required effects when you choose the .ini during ReShade setup.

  If any effects are missing, these are the effects used:

    How to install ReShade for Forza Horizon 6

    • []Download and run the latest ReShade installer.[/]

      []Click Browse.[/]

      []Go to your Forza Horizon 6 install folder and select:[/]

    gamelaunchhelper.exe

    For Xbox app / Microsoft Store installs, the path may look like this:

    C:\XboxGames\Forza Horizon 6\Content\gamelaunchhelper.exe

    For Steam installs, the location may be different. The easiest way to find it is:

    Steam > Library > Forza Horizon 6 > right-click > Manage > Browse local files

    Then select gamelaunchhelper.exe from the game folder.

    4. When ReShade asks for the rendering API, select:

    Microsoft DirectX 10/11/12

    5. Click Next.

    Fresh ReShade install

    If this is your first time installing ReShade for Forza Horizon 6, continue through the installer normally.

    When ReShade asks you to select a preset, choose the Enhanced Color and Clarity .ini file.

    Selecting the preset during setup should automatically check the shader effects needed for the preset.
