📋 About This Mod
This mod introduces sensors. You can place them into your maps to detect what goes in front of them. If you want an example of how to use the sensor mod take a look at this map : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2280228477 Whenever a sensor state changes (what it detect becomes different) this script calls the OnSensorStateChanged function for every script. However team 0 sensors don't work (only team 1,2 and 3 work). Write this function in you own script.lua file and your script is going to be called every time the state of a sensor changes. Prototype : function OnSensorStateChanged(sensorId, previousState, NewState) Log("Sensor " .. tostring(sensorId) .. " changed state from " .. tostring(previousState) .. " to " .. tostring(NewState)) end SensorId : id of the sensor changing state previousState, NewState : state the sensor is changing from and to (int) States are the ray test result : RAY_HIT_NOTHING (0), RAY_HIT_TERRAIN (1), RAY_HIT_STRUCTURE (2), RAY_HIT_DEVICE (3), RAY_HIT_WEAPON (4), RAY_HIT_FIELD (5). There are also function you can call through SendScriptEvent to change parameters and enable debug (display of line of sight) : SetSensorsDetectionLenght, EnableSensorsDebug, SetSensorsRayParam, EnableSensors See their definition in the script.lua file of this mod for more informations There are two types of sensor : one with a visible laser sight and one without a visible sight.
