Acid Bomb

The weapon itself: The acid bomb is an armoury weapon firing one projectile. This projectile is able to melt the first piece of armour or device it encounters, core included. This weapon is a ballistic weapon and reflects off shields. It upgrades into the corrosion bomb. The corrosion bomb fire a gaz grenade. On hit, the grenade apply the corrosion effect around the impact point. The corrosion effect is a new effect introduced in this mod, it makes the materials around the impact point brittle. Brittle materials have less HP and metal don't reflect projectile if slanted. Replace them with normals materials to repair. How to use it: - As a combo weapon with buzzsaw, buzzsaws remove the wood and the acid bombs remove everything else. This requires you to rush both the workshop and the armoury. Feel free to add a mod like Remove Buzzsaw Self Destroy if you find buzzsaw to be too weak. With the corrosion effect buzzsaw become able do cut metal too ! -As a support weapon in a minigun rush, miniguns are completly shutdown by slanted metal and the acid bomb is good at destroying it. One player goes for the acid bombs and the rest for miniguns. Since slanted metal no longer reflects bullets, the corrosion bomb is a good choice to help miniguns. -For the meme, the acid bomb is 100% compatible with the particle accelerator! Shoot a bunch in one and watch as the swarm of projectile melts the opposite forts. The acid bomb is fast to rush and refires quickly so an interesting alternative to the 20mm cannon. -As you like, I'm pretty sure you're going to figure out creative and interesting ways to use the weapon i did not think about! This mod features: One entirely custom weapon with custom looks, animations (reloading, firing, impact), sound effects (firing and reloading) and HUD (group, detail and even help).
