SuperchargeBeam

Normally the bug causing desynch and destruction should be avoided now, tell me if you have problems. This mod features: One entirely custom weapons with custom skin, animations (reloading, firing, impact, ready to fire), sound effects (firing and reloading) and HUD (group, detail, icons). The weapon apply a new effect, the supercharge effect. This effect also has unique sound effects and animations. I also included custom HUD group icons for the firebeam and the plamabeam. The weapon itself: The Superchargebeam is a beam weapon unlocked by the factory. It is an expensive but powerful weapon. On hit it shuts down portals and apply the supercharge effect to bracings in a short radius. Supercharged bracings explode on destruction dealing damages to structure around them. They tend to chain react and explode all at once. How to use it: Get it after the standard firebeam/plasmabeam combo. Use it like the firebeam, fire it first and then fire the plasma beam at the same spot. It cost 1200 metal and 9000 energy so you have to build more battery to build it. It also cost 6000 energy to fire it. Why this mod weapon? Beam weapons don’t really have any good late game option. Playing late game laser is throwing more plasma beam on top of your plasma beam or going for another tech. Since beam weapon are not good at dealing splash damages or eco damages this may not even work unlike canons. Beam weapon did not really benefited from the Moonshot dlc. With the addition of the magnabeam late game canons can go for the factory and build the magnabeam to unlock a very powerfull combo but going for lasers is still the same. You can reuse the code from this mod. Please don't reuse assets (sprites ...) without permission.
