Restore PS2 Tidus

Hello hi greetings and welcome!

This mod fully restores the original PS2 model of Tidus for the FFX Remaster.

It's not a texture mod, this is the real deal.

Like Yuna there's some issues with the physics but they don't affect Tidus as much.

You can install it on an already in-progress game too.

Unlike the PS2 Yuna restoration, this mod wouldn't have been possible without Roelin's FFXII Asset Converter, go and endorse his mod!

Installation:

You need ffgriever's FFX/X-2 HD External File Loader already setup for installation. (NO UNTITLED PROJECT X REQUIRED!!)

1- Extract the contents of the zip file into the mods folder. (Create one if you don't have it)

2- Play the gameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Troubleshooting:

If the model doesn't show up with any textures make sure you aren't using

Untitled Project X. It and FFX File Loader don't work nice together and

it tends to screw up the mod sometimes (and crashes it a lot).

While testing some cutscenes got stuck and didn't load, opening up the ESC menu and closing it should fix it.

The save and information spheres become partially invisible with this mod. There is no fix currently.

Also keep in mind this mod isn't compatible with any previous Tidus texture

mods nor will it ever be compatible. This is because the texture is

structured differently than the one used for the HD model.
