📋 About This Mod
Controller fix that works for both FF7 1998 and 2013 PC port. Can be used with FFNx/7th Heaven.
Installation instructions
1. Open the Run dialog (⊞ Win+R) then enter "joy.cpl" and click "OK".
2. Click "Advanced..." > set the controller on Preferred Device > click "OK".
3. Extract all files in the FF7 game folder and run the game.
4. Run the FF7 Launcher > Settings > Joystick > assign the controls like this:
OK = B (BUTTON 3)
CANCEL = A (BUTTON 2)
MENU = Y (BUTTON 4)
START = Start (BUTTON 10)
SWITCH = X (BUTTON 1)
PAGE UP = LB (BUTTON 5)
PAGE DOWN = RB (BUTTON 6)
TARGET = RT (BUTTON 8)
ASSIST = Back (BUTTON 9)
CAMERA = LT (BUTTON 7)
or just copy "ff7input.cfg" to "%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Square Enix\FINAL FANTASY VII Steam".
5. Play the game.
This config uses the default PS1 controls.
