Installation

This mod requires the Final Fantasy XVI Mod Loader (Reloaded-II) by Nenkai to run properly.

Description

Choose to use the appearance of 50 different weapons! Screenshots of most are included in the Media section of this mod listing. Please note the 2. 4. 0 and 2. 5. 0 skins don't all have screenshots posted yet. (FYI static screenshots of the Radiant swords don't do them justice because their animated glow effects are not captured.)

You can configure which sword you want to reskin as well as which weapon appearance to apply to that sword.

If you have the Arete Stone appearance unlocked, you can also set an older sword to be reskinned, and then apply that sword's modded appearance to your weapons via the Arete Stone.

New for 2. 5. 0 is the ability to reskin ALL swords pre-Eastpool for the segment of the game before you unlock the Arete Stone Weapon Appearance option. Additionally, you can now set up a second sword reskin.

After following the above installation instructions, please use the Configure Mod button in the Reloaded Menu to setup the mod. (Note the below config menu screenshots are outdated. I'll be updating this page in the next few days.)

First, select from the dropdown box which sword you wish to reskin.

Then, select from the dropdown box which skin you wish to apply.

Finally, choose whether you wish to also reskin Odin's blade during times when Clive performs Odin abilities.

Known Issues

Some of the larger swords have clipping with Clive's leather sword holster while on his back.

The recommended workaround is to select a large sword to reskin (i.e. Onion Sword, Tonberry Knife, Buster Sword) and the sword holster should stop showing.

Some of the smaller swords have handles that are too small for Clive's hands, so his finger clips through the guard.
