Combat Theme and BGM Complete Soundtrack Overhaul

As excellent as this OST is, I've always found there was quite a few instances where tracks didn't quite belong in the scene or would otherwise fit better elsewhere. Every single track in the game has been painstakingly reviewed and rearranged to better capture the tone of the game, using ONLY vanilla tracks. The majority of boss themes were left alone.

I've put together a few versions rearranging the tracks according to my taste, along with a backup of the original OST for convenience

Version 1: Default OST

Self-explanatory, the original files as backup.

Version 2: Default OST with Muted Chocobo Theme

Every track is completely vanilla, but I simply removed the painfully annoying theme while mounting and riding a chocobo.

Version 3: Darker Toned OST

Using only vanilla tracks, I've rearranged the BGM to only include the darker, more hopeless sounding tracks to better fit the tone of the story. I've removed all the over the top (in my opinion) "anime" sounding themes regarding combat and background music, and replaced them with the gloomier/darker themes, along with the dungeon/cave themes making them more suspenseful sounding. Far too many to list but a complete overhaul of the soundtrack and very well done in my opinion.

Version 4: Vanilla+ OST

This is my personal preference, a mix between the default Vanilla and Darker Toned OST. This keeps the intended vanilla feel and BGM with a few tracks moved around that were better suited elsewhere- such as the Chocobo theme, cave/dungeon theme, morning/night/evening themes, monster hunting themes, and the town BGM. Keeps the default battle themes of all 3 regions plus the Imperial battle theme.

Installation:

Just simply drag and drop into your FINAL FANTASY XV directory and replace files when prompted.
