Under-Optimized Board

Description

I felt the ZA boards were too much everyone is eventually everything they want, and the double class system trivializes the game's already simplified Difficulty from the Original PS2 version. So what I did is remove some garbage licenses and figured out a way to put everything on one board again in a much cleaner style where the player must choose their class by starting in the middle of the board, and expanding the board by buying the Quickenings.

Espers can unlock shortcuts, especially helpful with any class respec mods.

Installation instructions

Copy and Paste files from the folder to the following Directory. (I use steam.)

Idk which of the two require the files, best to past to one above that directory as well.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE\mods\deploy\ff12data\ps2data\image\ff12\test_battle\in\binaryfile\battle_pack.bin.dir

Main features

All classes start the same with access to L1-3 Black & White Magics, and a few weapon choices, and all armors L1-3, 6 Gambit Slots, and a few extra things i found each spec needed, and locked things behind reasonable pathways.

Pick the 3 Quickenings to build your character that makes your build, the game locks all other options after that 3rd path is chosen.

Espers can open additional paths if you aquire them, opening even more possibilities.

Requirements

Nothing.

Respec Mods recommended.
