📋 About This Mod
Description
This is a light-weight code mod that extends the length of the Longer and Longest days options in the game's Accessibility menu. This mod does not use Aurie/YYToolkit, it's just a simple fiddle edit, as such it should work on Steam deck and for users who've had trouble getting Time of Mistria to work for them.
Comes in 2 options:
1: Effe's Longer Days: Standard days remain the same, Longer day setting is now approx 15 minutes long, and Longest day setting is approx 20 minutes long.
2: Effe's Longest Days: Standard days remain the same, Longer day setting is now approx 20 minutes long, and Longest day setting is approx 30 minutes long.
Q: What's the difference between this mod and Time of Mistria?
A: Time of Mistria is a fantastic mod created by Archie, which uses the Aurie framework he made to create changes in the game while it's running. It allows a lot more control, letting users alter the speed at which time passes in the game on the fly, and letting them pause time completely. But, because of its more complex and robust implementation, some users struggle to get it to work, and it isn't currently supported on Steam deck.
My mod is just a light-weight edit of the game's fiddle code (similar to my sprinkler, mill, or essence stone mods) that alters the function Fields of Mistria added to alter the length of days. It gives you less control than Time of Mistria, but is simpler to use and will run on Steam deck.
Installation
Please install with Mods of Mistria Installer.
