About Fanfare Free

Annoyed by big fanfare popups in the middle of your screen when you are in the middle of combat? This mod will let you select which popups to hide, removing all distractions as you lay waste to Super Mutants, Snallygasters, and Scorchbeasts alike!

Popups you can disable include:

• []Item pickups and rewards (Legendary Items, Holiday Gifts and Mole Miner Pails, Bobbleheads and Magazines, and so on)

  []Quest statuses (start, completion, and failure messages, and rewards list)

  []Level ups

  []Daily Ops statuses (objective updates and completion message)

  Installation

  1. Download the latest HUD Mod Loader and follow its installation instructions

  2. Download Fanfare Free and extract the zip file to Fallout76\Data

  3. Add FanfareFree.ba2 to your sResourceArchive2List in your Fallout76Custom.ini.

  4. Ensure FFHudMenu is in your hudmodloader.ini in your Fallout76\Data folder

  Configuration

  Review all the available options in the fanfarefree.ini in your Fallout 76\Data folder to select which popups you want to hide. Changing the value for a setting to 1 disables the popup; changing the value to 0 re-enables the popup. The list of options are as follows:

  ; Hide item popups such as Legendary Items, Gift boxes, and special currency items

  ; Hide quest announcements like the Hunter/Hunted radio station notification

  HideQuestAnnouncements=1

  ; Hide popups for quests started after accepting them fron an NPC or traveling to an event

  ; Hide quest completion and failure messages

  ; Hide the list of rewards after a quest ends

  ; Hide Daily Ops messages related to the objectives (e.g. Codes, Code Carriers, Radio Interceptors)
