A collection of perks to fit little niches and do a few interesting things.
- -= Wyrd Wasteland Perks =-
- This mod aims to bring some interesting, unique and otherwise useful perks to the Capital Wasteland. Each perk will try to keep in line with the humor of the Fallout series, as well as using it\'s own resources and others from previous games to create unique icons for each perk.
- At the moment, I am trying to focus on skills I feel may be underused in order to give players an incentive to specialise in them, as well as coming up with anything that I think might make an amusing perk to try depict.
- If you have a suggestion in any way, shape or form, feel free to leave it in the comments or PM me if you\'re paranoid about someone knocking off your killer idea. Please keep in mind however that there are limits to the game engine and my modding ability, for the moment at least.
- UPDATE 20/01/09
- I could not manage to get near as many perks finished as I first wanted, time was not my friend this weekend and I thought I\'d better update with SOMETHING since I said I would. Added Split Personality and Know Your Foe, two perks that give unpredictable bonuses.
- The main reason behind the lack of extra perks was me struggling with fixing the None Left Behind perk. I managed to learn my way around the Dogmeat problem, so he SHOULD give a bonus now, but I have yet to make it work whole heartedly without modifying those characters. I have taken the quest route as was suggested by wyverex, but all I managed to succeed in doing was bricking my game. I have installed bright and fresh now, so hopefully I can get it fixed now without possible interference from other mods.

- Whether it\'s that warm smile or charming demeanor, people just want to give you a good price. With a Good karma, you will gain 15 Barter skill and double that at a Very Good karma level.

- You\'ve never lost a man in the thick of it and damned if it\'ll happen now. When your companion\'s health drops below 50%, you deal 25% more damage and have an extra 15% chance to critical.

- Effects:
- +25% damage when ally is <50% health
- +15% critical chance when ally is <50% health
- You\'re so in tune with computers and tech that all that knowledge has expanded your thinking. You gain a point to your Intelligence, 15 points to your Energy Weapons skill and enemies will almost never score critical hits with an Energy Weapon.
