universal key

Found by the skeleton just inside the door to the wasteland from vault 101 this key will unlock any door or container that you have the skill to pick you wont get any xp or karma rewards for using this device but will still loose karma if taking contents from containers as this does not change any containers only adds a key when you equip the key you get the option to lock or unlock the door or container as well as the usual pick or open option to choose from this will not let you open any door or container that you dont have the skill to pick. the containers you lock will be locked to the following difficulty settings as outlined in the geck pages at http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/GetLockLevel if your lock pick is between 0 and 24 locked at 0 = very easy if your lock pick is between 25 and 49 locked at 25 = easy if your lock pick is between 50 and 74 locked at 50 = average if your lock pick is between 75 and 99 locked at 75 = hard if your lock pick is between 100 and 254 locked at 100 = very hard if your lock pick is 255 or higher which would take a mod or console command to achieave locked at 255 = impossible WARNING locking city and other doors that may be quest related may interfere with any quest requireing acess to those citys by npc population UPDATE corrected a slight oversight the key no longer weighs 3 pounds
