📋 About This Mod

PLEASE READ at least sections Description and Usage ==================== HugePinball\'s Plugins -------------------- http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id= ==================== Timed Mines Version: 1. 0b1 Date: 06-18-2009 Author: HugePinball E-mail: huge.pinball@gmail.com ================== Description Usage Requirements Installation Conflicts/Known Issues Credits Permissions/Modding Usage ==================== Description ==================== Adds timed versions of the 3 land mines: Timed Frag Mines, Timed Plasma Mines, and Timed Pulse Mines. These do NOT replace existing mines - they are new explosive weapons. This is an early beta version released primarily for testing and feedback. The Timed Mines are not added to any locations in game, or sold by any vendors - you must use console commands to add them (see below). This version\'s purpose is to test the concept and mechanics of the Timed Mines in game, and there are a few known issues which will be addressed at a later point: - Explosives skill and Perks have no effect on damage, either positive or negative. - They do not work properly when reverse-pickpocketing (\"Exploding Pants\"). - While developing, the game would occasionally CTD immediately before the moment of explosion. It seemed random and the cause is unknown. After some changes they appeared to stop, but you should be warned to save your game before using these mines, and I will appreciate any clues indicating any kind of pattern if this happens to you. I\'d appreciate feedback on the following: - Ease of use - Immersion (does the interface and usage seem natural in the game?) - Usefulness (are these good weapons to add to your game?) - Bugs (is anything broken?) - Coolness (well... you think it\'s cool?) See next section for details on how to use the Timed Mines in game. ==================== Usage ==================== The timed mines can be used in a few ways - but first: Drop = Right-click in PipBoy menu Plant = Left-click while mine is in your hands (how you use the normal mines) Timed Mines are used a little differently than proximity mines. Instead of equipping them and planting with a left-click, you need to drop them (right-click in inventory), then arm and set the timer. If you drop a single mine while sneaking, upon closing your PipBoy you will enter the arming menu. Select a detonation time or cancel arming, and the mine will be dropped. Once a mine is dropped in the world, you can activate it to set/reset the timer, or disarm and take the mine. You can also plant the mines as usual, and they will function as the normal proximity mines. You can still return to deactivate them, but you must pick them up before you can use them again. Some tips! - In any state, the mines can detonated by gunfire or other nearby explosions. This may help or hurt you! - In any state, the
