📋 About This Mod
Disables repair while in combat!
FYI to FOOK2 users: No Repair in Combat has been added to the FOOK2 Test Options menu with the Beta v1. 2 patch. If you\'re using FOOK2, you should not run this mod. NRIC is disabled by default, so you need to enter the test options (\'=\' hotkey) and turn it on. Any further developments I make for this feature I will update in both places. ========================= Name: No Repair in Combat Version: 1. 0 Date: 8/26/2009 Category: Gameplay Effects and Changes Requirements: Fallout Script Extender (FOSE) Author: HugePinball Forum: http://www.fookunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1460 Homepage: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8820 No Repair in Combat - or - The \"Stopping to repair while in combat makes you a sitting duck and makes no sense\" mod !! REQUIREMENTS !! ================== FOSE (Fallout Script Extender) - http://fose.silverlock.org Description =========== Stopping to repair your weapon or patch your armor while in the middle of combat is a really bad idea. This mod prevents you from engaging in this immersion-breaking activity. It\'s my opinion that as well as being more realistic (for those who are a fan of that), this gameplay change will also make the game more fun! Having to plan ahead a little, think about your tactics, and possibly change them while in combat is much more engaging and fun! There is an in-game option to disable this feature (allow repair while in combat) so you can easily compare the difference between the two mechanics. Currently you must be COMPLETELY out of combat to have access to repair. Sneaking until your detection status reads is NOT enough. However, I will be changing this in a future version. Usage ======= Nothing else to do unless you want to turn the feature off and on in-game. To change the options enter the console and type: StartQuest HPPRepairOptions Install ======= 1. Extract the archive to your \"Fallout 3\\Data\" folder. 2. Select \"HPP - No Repair in Combat.esp\" anywhere in your load order. Uninstall ========= 1. Disable or remove \"HPP - No Repair in Combat.esp\" Incompatibility =============== FOOK2 Beta v1. 2+ (see note at top of description). Should be nothing else this time, except anything that also attempts to disable/enable PipBoy repair. Known Issues or Bugs ==================== Should be no technical issues.
