NEW: Added patch to fix the magazine texture. Must be installed on top of 1. 01. WHAT IT IS It adds a new black silenced G3A3 assault rifle, made by alexscorpion. It does not replace any existing items or textures. The textures and mesh are made by alexscorpion, and he deserves all the credit. I just put the .esp together for him. All the kudos should go to the great man himself. The numeric values used in the weapon, price and placement, are the easy stuff and thus my quick ideas, so all complaints about those should be directed my way. For the values, I took the Wanda as a comparison baseline, since we\'re talking about a unique and expensive weapon. I.e., my aim is for it to be about comparable to Wanda in worth, though not necessarily by being identical and not necessarily for the same play style. The damage has been toned down by 25%, i.e., closer to plain old Assault Rifle values, to simulate the effect of the silencer. (This is actually a higher percentage than the 10mm pistol loses when silenced.) The magazine has been reduced to the correct 20 rounds magazine of a G3A3. The weight has been increased by 1 pound, to account for the large suppressor. The gun\'s accuracy has been given a small boost, since you\'ll want some distance to stay undetected even with a silent gun. It\'s still a lot less accurate than single-shot weapons, though. The gun is marginally more durable, but only marginally, so you\'ll still have to repair it. And, of course, there\'s always the price as some (minor) balancing factor too. It uses assault rifles for repair materials. (But not the other way around: you can\'t use it to repair a normal assault rifle, to prevent accidentally destroying it that way.) WHERE TO GET IT It\'s sold by Karl in the \"Family\" hideout, for a fairly high price. Or you can just give it to yourself via \"player.additem 00ffb533 1\". HOW TO INSTALL IT Search for \"set bInvalidateOlderFiles=0\" in your Fallout3.ini file and change it to \"set bInvalidateOlderFiles=1\", if you haven\'t done so already. Extract the archive, with directories, in your Fallout3\\Data folder. Add the G3SilentGun.esp to the list of plugin files via the launcher, as usual. ARCHIVE INVALIDATION You don\'t need to add anything to the archive invalidation file, since it doesn\'t replace any of the existing textures, meshes or sounds. Rejoyce. HOW TO UNINSTALL IT 1. Remove the esp from the list of active plugins in the launcher. 2. Delete plugin itself. 3. Go into your Data\\Textures\\Scorpio and delete the 1handpistol and 2handautomatic directories in it. You can delete the Scorpio directory too, if now empty. (And it should be.) 4. Go into your Data\\Meshes\\Scorpio and delete the 2handautomatic directory in it.
