2024 Update- I haven't played or modded Fallout 3 in over a decade. If you send me a message about this mod I probably wont see it or won't remember enough to answer a technical question! Do what you want with this mod, just give credit if you use this in your mod I suppose?

18 Feb 1010 - Added support for RH_ Iron sights mod

I've added a new file which includes aligned meshes that work with RH Iron Sights mod. You can find the mod here:

Because I've had to move the guns around (up mostly) it means they clip with the hand a bit in third person.

- Adds 4 Colt M4 Carbines to the game.

- M4 with EOTech reflex sight.

- M4 with EOTech and silencer.

- M4 with Aimpoint scope.

- M4 with Aimpoint and silencer.

They can be bought from Moira Brown at Craterside Supplies and Flak and Shrapnels at Rivet City. They should restock once a week.

If you want you can just add them with console codes:

Where 'xx' is the order you load this mod. E.g '09' (No. 9 in load order) or '0A' (No. 10 in load order)

They use default 5. 56mm ammo and can be repaired with each other, assault rifles and chinese assault rifles.

- Extract the files to a temporary location.

- Merge the 'Data' folder from the mod with the 'Data' folder in your Fallout 3 install directory. Usually found at C:\program files\bethesda softworks\fallout 3\data\ though it differs on steam/vista.

- Download 'archive invalidation invalidated': http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944

- Make sure you have "bInvalidateOlderFiles" set to "1" in 'Fallout.ini' Go into my documents/my games/fallout3/ (not the fallout install folder, its different) and there should be a text file called 'fallout'. Open it and search (ctrl +f) for ''bInvalidateOlderFiles'' if it equals '0' then change it to '1' and save. It should look like this: bInvalidateOlderFiles=1

- If you are using the RH Iron sights files then you will need to install RH Iron sights mod as well. It can be found here: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6938

Make sure to follow the instructions for installing that mod too.

• Start Fallout Mod Manager, place a checkmark beside ColtM4Carbines.esp or ColtM4Carbines_RHIronSights.esp
