Improved Gauss Rifle By Cheezstik

I made this mod because I was very excited about the Gauss rifle and only got Operation Anchorage for the Gauss rifle (and free power armor training). I was very disappointed when I found out how ineffective it was and looked for a mod. I couldn\\\'t find one that does this effect but if one exists that was made before this then sorry, I did not know. Please give suggestions in comment if you have any. There\'s a pretty good chance that you would often get affected by these bugs: Shot dealing no damage and or doesn\\\'t knock down even though clearly hitting enemy Shot impacts on floor near enemy but deals no damage Shot deals less than 100 damage Shot flies offset Shot flies straight through enemy Unfortunately, this mod doesn\\\'t fix the last 2 bugs but it definitely makes the Gauss rifle more usable and less of a disappointment. What I actually did to fix this was reduce the damage of the gun itself from 100 to 1 and raise the damage of the projectile explosion from 0 to 100 and raised the radius of the explosion from 40 to 160 (In comparison, a regular frag grenade\\\'s radius is 450). This mod will have these effects which might not have been originally intended by the developers: Deals splash damage Deals 1 extra damage if both shot and explosion hits enemy Cripples body parts slightly more easily Can deal damage to yourself easily by shooting at the floor Can Damage more than one enemy at a time Explosion is noticeably bigger Other mods by me: Improved Infiltrator http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/18483 Improved Weapons http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/18485 Installation: Drag the .esp to Fallout 3\\\\Data folder and put a tick next to it on launch. Requirements: Fallout 3 patched to 1. 7 (Which is required for DLC anyway) Operation Anchorage (This mod will most likely NOT work with standalone versions of the Gauss rifle) Conflicts: Any mod that edits the Sim or Wasteland version of the Gauss rifle or the Gauss rifle explosion Permissions: Do whatever you want with the file, no permission or credit necessary (even though it would be nice). It\'s a simple idea and only required very basic modding knowledge to actually make into a mod. Enjoy this mod :)
