Followers Insurance

This mod was written for and uses the base game, no other mod/DLC are required.

MOD RUNDOWN ========== This mod adds a MISC object to the mailbox next to the blue car in Springvale. The \"Followers Insurance\" simply sets all DEFAULT follower to essential (Can not die, just gets knocked out). You must keep the insurance on your person. This ONLY works with DEFAULT companions that are built into the regular game. Any companion that is added by another mod is NOT affected by this mod.

Followers that are affected: -Dogmeat (Unless you use the version that excludes him) -Butch -Charon -Clover -Fawkes -Jericho -Sergeant RL-3 -Star Paladin Cross

The 2nd version does not set DOGMEAT as essential incase you use the Puppies perk.

The approach I used does not directly affect the NPCs, it only flags then in-game as essential, any mod that changes them directly will be compatible with this mod. The only way a mod would conflict with this one is if it also alters the MailboxDestroyedUnarmed container.

POSSIBLE CONFLICTS ========== This mod adds one new MISC item to Container-"MailboxDestroyedUnarmed". So if another mod changes this as well then load order will decide who wins, if the other does then you won't see the Follow Insurance in the Mailbox.
