✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 728 endorsements and over 25k downloads.
- Fixes several visual bugs like clipped ghoul blood and glowing one green blood.
- Brings a popular Fallout 4 mod's blood effects to Fallout 76 for a more visceral experience.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in December 2018 — may not be compatible with current game versions.
- Requires manual INI editing, which can be intimidating for less technical players.
- Only affects blood decals and meshes; no other visual enhancements included.
For Fallout 76 players who want more realistic and varied blood effects without overhauling the whole game. If you're comfortable editing INI files and want a classic blood texture mod ported over, this is for you. Skip if you prefer vanilla blood or want a more comprehensive visual overhaul.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to back up your Fallout76Custom.ini before editing, so you can revert if something goes wrong.
- If you already have a sResourceIndexFileList entry, carefully append the new .ba2 names to the end of the list, keeping the existing entries intact.
- After installing, launch the game and check blood effects on enemies to confirm the mod is working; if blood appears glitched, verify your INI syntax.
