📋 About This Mod
BeltPack (Belt Jetpack)
Remodel and reposition of basic Jetpack (normal armor)
Do you like the immersion of visible Jetpack (effects etc) but hate that it is so big and clunky - so you hide it? This mod tries to make the best of two worlds, by scaling down / editing the model and moving it to belt height.
-
[]basic Jetpack is affected (should work with Secret Service / Civil Engineer / BOS armors)[/]
[]model was scaled down and modified (removed / remodeled some parts)[/]
[]added "flaps / covers" to exhausts that protect user from heat[/]
[]model was moved to belt height[/]
[]changed connection point (bone) from "chest rear bone" to "spine rear bone" so Jetpack moves correctly with player[/]
[]Jetpack FX was repositioned to match jetpack new size / height[/]

A simple remodel and reposition of the basic Jetpack for normal armor in Starfield. With 29 endorsements and 2,877 downloads, it offers a cosmetic alternative for players who want a belt-style jetpack look. Last updated May 2026.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Lightweight cosmetic change that alters the jetpack's appearance and position.
- Decent download count (2,877) for a niche cosmetic mod.
- Recently updated (May 2026), so likely works with current game version.
⚠️ Cons
- Low endorsement count (29) suggests limited community testing or feedback.
- No screenshots or detailed description provided by the author.
- Only affects the basic jetpack, not other variants or upgraded versions.
For Starfield players who want a subtle visual tweak to their character's jetpack without overhauling the whole armor system. If you're looking for gameplay changes or new jetpack mechanics, this isn't for you. It's purely cosmetic and niche.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a model/texture replacer, you can install it manually by dropping files into your Data folder, but using a mod manager like Vortex is safer for uninstalling.
- Make sure you're using the 'normal armor' jetpack in-game to see the change; other jetpack variants won't be affected.
- If you don't see the change, double-check that the mod files are placed in the correct directory (e.g., Data\Meshes and Data\Textures).
