Mods are stackable with my other mods
Mothman eggs and gourds were not included due to issues with the Nifs become eyebleedingly bad.
Sugar bombs were going to be included but Sugar Bomb Esp by AnglerBirb exists and works very well.
Thanks to Commanderbass for all the help! Also recommend his Bunnytron Redux for lots of laughs.
P. S. I'm quite sick, if at any point in the future I stop updating the mods and they break; they shouldn't, but Bethesda be Bethesda; feel free to update them just give me credit.
Assorted Plants ESP is a Fallout 4 mod that makes hard-to-find plants like cranberries, snaptail reeds, silt beans, brain fungus, ash rose, and blight easier to spot, with some glowing through walls. It includes individual and combined ESP files, and requires manual installation or a mod manager. With 65 endorsements and 3,329 downloads, it's a niche utility for survival players.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solves the cranberry hunt for relish—no more insanity (65 endorsements).
- Brain fungus glowing through walls is a game-changer for cave exploration.
- Modular install lets you pick exactly which plants you want highlighted.
⚠️ Cons
- Combined BA2s are unsupported, so you lose the stop-glowing feature if you use them.
- Manual install requires editing FalloutCustom.ini, which might trip up new modders.
- Author notes they're sick and may stop updating—future Bethesda patches could break it.
For Fallout 4 survival players who waste hours hunting for cranberries, silt beans, or blight. Also great for completionists who want to grab every plant without squinting. Skip if you're fine with the vanilla plant visibility or prefer gameplay overhauls.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're on PC, use a mod manager like Vortex to avoid manual INI edits—it handles the archive list automatically.
- Pick the 'nof' version if you don't want brain fungus glowing through walls, as it's a common request.
- Since combined BA2s lack the stop-glowing feature, stick with individual ESPs for the full experience.
