📋 About This Mod
A vanilla location has been overhauled into something new, functional, and engaging. Included are an MRE factory with an MRE consumable item, a way to travel to Spectacle Island, a robot workbench, and a robot parts merchant.
Whalers Wharf
Since mod doesn't touch precombines, it will simply place items and teleport doors. If another mod has assets in the same space, they will just overlap. The interior cells exists on its own.
A vanilla location transformed into a small, functional settlement with immersive lore and unique features.
Located on the wharf behind the General Atomics Factory, this overhaul breathes new life into an otherwise unused corner of the map. Designed with utility and lore-friendliness in mind, location adds several new features to enhance your Fallout 4 experience:
🧱 New Settlement Workshop Objects Under (Resources → Miscellaneous) in the workshop menu:
Storage Shelf - A decorative shelf to add visual detail and atmosphere to your settlement.
Factory Supply Beacon - When powered, this beacon produces 6 food and 6 water—without needing settlers.
It represents a lore-friendly supply system, as if your outpost is being stocked with goods produced at the nearby MRE factory. This lets you build functional outposts that rely on factory logistics instead of farming or water pumps, creating a more industrial or military-themed setup
🛠 Robot Workbench Without Automatron
Build and customize robots without starting the Automatron DLC questline. The fully functional robot workbench is placed in the settlement, allowing early access to robotic companions and customization for any player build.
🧰 Robot Parts Merchant
Fallout 4 was missing a dedicated vendor for robot parts — not anymore. This mod introduces a new robot parts merchant, giving you access to rare components and modules without relying on random loot or quest progression.
🏭 MRE Production Facility
A small factory basement has been added, where pre-War tech is repurposed to produce MRE (Meal, Ready-to-Eat) survival packs. This is a lore-friendly addition that justifies the existence of MREs in the game. MRE packs are included in the leveled lists.
🚤 Boat to Spectacle Island
Tired of swimming across the bay to Spectacle Island? A small boat docked at the wharf now serves as a fast travel shortcut, providing a convenient and immersive alternative to swimming. The mooring post by the reed boat functions as a transport activator.
⚔️ Two Small Kill Quests + Lore
Mod includes two minor kill quests with light storytelling elements, adding a touch of Fallout flavor and reward for exploration. Terminal entries and environmental storytelling help tie everything together.
Problems I’d be grateful for help with (if possible):
[*]The mooring post (used as a travel point to Spectacle Island) works prope
