USO Unlocked Settlement Objects series

Unlocked Settlement Objects is a basic settlement building mod that seeks to add all available in-game assets for settlement building. It was primarily developed for PS4, where Sony has placed a significant number of restrictions on mods that block most similar mods from being made available, but has been made available on XB1 and PC for users seeking the small file size that mods built within these restrictions have. It primarily focuses on adding in-game items that are not part of workshop mode into that mode as well as a limited amount of reskins of items using in-game textures.

USO is composed of several components:

USO Base Game - the core component for all USO installs

USO Season Pass - an all-in one addon that adds content from the DLC addons (Automatron, Wasteland Workshop, Far Harbor, Contraptions Workshop, Vault-Tec Workshop, Nuka-World) and the two specialist addons (USO Mashups and USO Cubes!).

USO DLC Addons - individual addons for the 6 content DLC's for users who have some but not all installed - users who have all 6 should use the Season Pass addon instead.

USO Cubes! - adds buildable cubes style workshop components (requires Far Harbor DLC)

USO Mashups - requires all DLC - includes content leveraging multiple DLC's (it is recommended to use the USO Season Pass addon instead of this mod).

NOTABLE FEATURES:

Reorders items into more logical categories that produce lighter load on weaker hardware such as consoles. Most items will now appear under the "USO Integrated" category including default tabs like "Structures" and "Resources" etc.

Adds custom retextures of wall, floor, and other components using in-game materials to provide different styles of wasteland, prewar, and institute structural elements to build mode

Adds rugs that act as stores and guard stations allowing you to assign settlers to these activities but positioned at other furniture than the default stores.

Adds rugs that act as scavenging stations (assignable to settlers) and chairs (with idle animations when settlers are not working) for various activities like push-ups, reading the newspaper, sweeping etc.

Adds various complete structures to build mode like the bunker hill monument, cabins, combat zone fight cage etc

Adds Buildable NPCs.

Adds various building and customization tools.

DESIGN NOTE:

USO was developed with PS4 restrictions in mind which is why it does not use script injection to populate the menu's (as this isn't available on playstation) and why it reorganizes content under it's own menu (as adding large numbers of new items to existing menu categories cause freezing and crashes on all platforms including PC). The initial versions of USO used the vanilla menu categories however it quickly hit a stability limit with the game engine where no additional items could be added to
