📋 About This Mod
Midwestern Power Armor
The classic Midwestern Power Armor is now in the Commonwealth and needs to be retrieved!
wsUOjD3RnxQ
Quirks & Features
You will get the retrieval quest at level 50 and above.
The armor set is based on the human skeleton not the Power Armor one so you don't need a PA frame to use it.
You can also construct a special crate and BOS flags at your settlements.
There is an item you can construct and wear called the "Arm Mobilizer Unit" which piggybacks off of the clothing scaling system and it inflates the arms so they match the original tactics armor and concept. In 1st person view your sight might get blocked. Completely optional.
All armor pieces have to be worn to avoid invisible limbs.
After finishing the quest you can construct all armor pieces at the Chembench.
4K textures for the armor. 2K for the crate and 1K for the flags.
Crate and flags are contructed in the workshop menu under the Special tab.
All armor pieces can have mods and insulation applied to them.
Pipboy will clip if you don't use a Pipboy hiding mod.
And yes the crash site was also all setup my me :)
Yeah, that's pretty much it! It's pretty straight forward--new armor set addition. Feel free to ask any questions if you have any.
Adds the classic Midwestern Power Armor from Fallout Tactics to Fallout 4 with new models, textures, and a short retrieval quest. A well-received cosmetic and gameplay addition for fans of the classic game.

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 407 endorsements and over 10k downloads.
- Brings a classic Fallout Tactics design to Fallout 4 with fresh models and textures.
- Adds a quest, giving you a reason to hunt down the armor instead of just console-commanding it in.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2020, so it might not be fully compatible with the latest Fallout 4 updates or DLC.
- The quest is short, so don't expect a sprawling storyline—it's a quick grab-and-go.
- Potential conflicts with other power armor mods that alter the same slots or use similar assets.
For Fallout 4 players who love power armor and want a piece of Fallout Tactics history in the Commonwealth. Also great for collectors who enjoy a small quest to earn their gear. Skip if you're not into power armor or prefer lore-friendly additions that fit the base game's aesthetic.
