Description
This mod retains the percentage-based health restoration of Stimpaks while removing their limb-healing effect. There are other mods, that try to achieve the same, but in order to remove the limb-healing effect, they replace the Stimpak effect completely and you no longer have a percentage-based heal effect. Bethesda hardcoded this effect into the Stimpak effect. This mod fixes that and removes it. (It will still work for NPCs, to get them back onto their feet)

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 423 endorsements and over 17k downloads
- Simple, focused change that adds challenge without overhauling the game
- Recently updated (April 2024) so likely compatible with current game versions
⚠️ Cons
- Requires F4SE, which adds an extra setup step for players unfamiliar with it
- Niche appeal—only affects Stimpak behavior, so players wanting broader survival changes may need other mods
For Fallout 4 players who want a grittier survival experience where limb damage is a real threat and Stimpaks aren't a cure-all. Skip if you prefer the vanilla convenience or want more comprehensive gameplay overhauls.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure F4SE is installed correctly and launch the game through f4se_loader.exe, not the default launcher.
- Check your mod manager's load order—this mod should be placed after any mods that alter Stimpak behavior.
- If you're using a mod that changes limb healing, test in a save before committing to a playthrough.
