📋 About This Mod
Did you ever want to roleplay a specific character in Fallout 4 but the dialogue options that would fit this character just weren't there? Well you've come to the right place, because Roleplayer's Expanded Dialogue aims to provide you with those dialogue options and enhance your roleplaying experience. RED adds hundreds of new dialogue options to the game with the help of XDI (Extended Dialogue Interface) with the intention of giving the player more roleplaying possibilities and the option to pick dialogue lines that fit their character the most. Is your PC a ruthless mercenary? Or Professor Smarty-pants? A blabbering idiot? Or maybe just a huge asshole? All of that and more is now possible thanks to RED.
[]Around 350 new dialogue options - In total this mod adds over 300 completely new lines of dialogue for the player
[]Bypass vanilla speech checks - I'm sure that most of you would agree with me when I say the vanilla speech checks are a little lame. First of all, they are ALL just charisma-based and nothing else. And what's worse, the success of these speech checks is basically random, because it's mostly determinted by RNG and increasing your charisma only improves your chances. Even with MAX charisma your success isn't 100% guaranteed. So I decided to change that. Now a majority of vanilla speech checks will be replaced with new speech/skill checks that are guaranteed to succeed if you have the required perk or if your SPECIAL stats are high enough. If you don't meet the requirements for those new speech/skill checks, the vanilla options will be available instead.
[]Unlock new dialogue with perks and SPECIAL stats - Aside from speech check replacements mentioned above, there are also multiple completely new speech checks and dialogue options that will automatically show up in dialogue trees once you meet the requirements.
[]Low Intelligence Dialogue - You read that right. LOW INTELLIGENCE DIALOGUE IS BACK, BABY! If your character's INT is lower than 4, these new low intelligence dialogue options will automatically replace vanilla dialogue. For now it's only around 150 lines sprinkled throughout the game and the 3 main DLCs (Far Harbor, Nuka World, Automatron), but this number increases with every update.
[]Be The Lone Wanderer or The Courier - This is a feature first introduced in version 2. 5 and it basically adds a few dozen dialogue lines that imply your PC is The Courier or The Lone Wanderer. Both can be enabled/disabled via a holotape crafted at the Chemistry workbench.
[]Karma-based dialogue - Optional plugin is included in the main file that also adds multiple new dialogue options that take advantage of the karma system from Crime and Punishment. Obviously, the mod is required for this optional plugin to work.
