📋 About This Mod
Description
Tired of merchants having only 300 caps when you have lots of items to sell, including your old modde weapons that cost much more ? Then this mod is for you.
Now in three variants, the norma Rich Merchants with 10000 caps, the Rich Merchants Less Caps with 2000 caps and the Very Rich Merchants with 30000 caps. The 30000 caps variant works perfectly and does not have the Skyrim bug were you could'nt get the monies when the merchant had more than 32K.
It modifyes the base calculation so it should work for all merchants of weapons, armors and medical supplies. Now settler merchants included.
I didn't tested in every shop because I didn't even finished my play but All the shops in Diamond City, Drumlin Diner and Carla (the traveler merch) show the capital increase so I assume that it would be the same in all the rest of shops.
Tested with all six workshops in Sanctuary. If you find any shop or merchant that doesn't have the caps post it and I'll look into it.
Installation
Nexus Mod Manager (recomended): Download with NMM and activate.
Manual: Drop the esp into the Data folder and locate the hidden mod manager in the FO4 Launcher located here:
and activate it. You won't get the "hand" so you have to click that zone.
Important! Remember that to get the new values in all merchants you need to wait 48hs for the restock. Refer to Known Issues.
Uninstallation
Nexus Mod Manager: Deactivate and optionally delete the mod.
Manual: Open the hidden mod manager in the FO4 Launcher, deactivate the mod and delete the file in Data folder.
Known issues
Some settler merchants at the workshops may appear at first with double of the caps estipulated. This is because the system is a complete mess and the tools we have at hand does not allow to fully edit the records but once the capital has been lowered to less of the caps estipulated, at the next restock will get the correct amount, that's 48 hs in game.
Some merchants like Deb and Kay may not reflect the new amount, simply sell your stuff to lower her caps to less de amount estipulated and at next restock will get the correct amount.
If you change the amount of capsfrom a lower variant to a higher one most shops will show the new amount but some may be stuck. Again, sell your stuff to lower his caps and wait 48 hs.
If you change from a higher version to a lower one wont reflect the new low amount until you lower his capital to less
