📋 About This Mod
This simple and tiny mod retextures a few surfaces from the 'Red Rocket' texture set, to give Red Rocket Truck Stops across the entire game a more distinct, vintage gas station or tire shop appearance. I found that while the architecture of Red Rockets was very well thought out, the interiors and overall aesthetic felt a little too drab to be America's favorite coolant station. This mod simply covers the interior and exterior walls, as well as the floor tiles and garage concrete. For a fully overhauled Red Rocket experience, I suggest pairing this with NMC's Texture Bundle, which can also be seen in the screenshots.

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros

- Gives Red Rocket a distinctive retro look that stands out
- Offers both 2K and 4K options for different performance needs
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2020 — may not be compatible with the latest Fallout 4 updates or DLC
- Only affects Red Rocket textures, so it's a niche cosmetic change
For Fallout 4 players who want to give Red Rocket a fresh, thematic makeover that fits the retro-futuristic vibe. Ideal for modders who enjoy visual overhauls and don't mind a bit of extra character in their settlements. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes or if you prefer lore-friendly vanilla textures.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex or NMM, you can install this mod directly and it will handle the file placement automatically.
- Choose the 2K version if you're on a lower-end system to save VRAM, or go 4K if you have a powerful GPU and want maximum detail.
- Since this mod only changes textures, it should be safe to add or remove mid-playthrough, but it's always a good idea to test in a new game or a save before your main one.
