💬 INTRODUCTION

Like most video games, Fallout 4 does shotguns dirty. By default, they're severely range-limited, have super-wide spreads, and are grossly under-powered. In real life, shotguns are devastating. Standard 00 Buckshot shoots eight . 33 Caliber pellets in a tight group over 25-45yards. That's like getting hit with 8 pistol rounds at once!

⚙️ WHAT THIS MOD DOES

This mod offers a complete overhaul of the vanilla shotguns and can be used as a framework for patching other shotgun mods to work with the new systems introduced in this mod. Make Shotguns fun to use with the following features:

  []New Lower Receiver attachments! Dual Triggers, Barrel Selectors, Grips, Laser sights and more!

  []Fire 1 or both barrels together at will! No toggling or attachment swapping!

  []Load different ammo into each barrel of the Double-Barrel Shotgun

  []Attach different Chokes onto each barrel

  []Choose which barrel to fire first at will. (Left or right)

  []Usable Scope magnifications for shotguns

  []Hunt down new Unique Combat & Double-Barrel Shotguns

Cut Shells won't cycle through a magazine, so you'll be single loading them into the ejection port on the Combat Shotgun.

* Buck & Ball isn't a unique ammo type. It's a mod for the Double-Barrel that requires you to have both 00 Buckshot and Slugs. If you run out of slugs, it will just start loading both barrels with 00 buck. You can use tighter Chokes with it, so long as the Right choke is Improved Cylinder or wider for the Slug.

⚙️ AMMO SWAPPING

Not every ammo type is compatable with every Shotgun config. Some require certain chokes and barrel types. You can cycle between compatible ammo by pressing the Right ALT key or you can hotkey the 'Select Ammo' aid item to select your ammo from a list of compatible ammo in your inventory. Additionally, firing when you run out of ammo will have you Select another Ammo automatically, if available. And finally, when equipping a Shotgun that was set to use an ammo that you no longer have, the shotgun will automatically be loaded with a different compatible ammo, if available.

⚙️ AMMO SOURCING

The new ammo has been added into the Shotgun Shell leveled list in a way that doesn't increase the total amount of Shotgun Ammo in the game. Higher tier ammo is introduc
