~~~Background~~~

Nuka World added some great content, at the cost of being a bad guy. If you want to play through it as a good guy - well, you miss out on some really great perks. (And playing the Raider may piss off Preston and co too.)

So if you want to play the good guy for whatever reason, here is a pretty good reward for doing it. It's retroactively given too.

~~~Conditions~~~

You can't have any of the Raider Gang perks (Chosen Disciple, Ace Operator, Pack Alpha).

You have to complete Open Seasons and then talk with MacKenzie in the Nuka-Town Market.

~~~What You Get~~~

One perk: Raider Bogeyman.

Having killed off so many Raiders, you have become a hard-bitten Raider-killing machine. This perk reflects that.

~~~Effects~~~

+10 sneak bonus

+0. 5x sneak damage

+20% unarmed and hand-to-hand damage

-20% damage from all incoming attacks

~~~Update~~~

The 1. 0a update is the same as the 1. 0 version - only with an ESL-flag! Somehow I originally uploaded a version without the ESL flag set. Thank you for pointing that out to me myerlon9.

If you're running in an existing game, keep it as-is. Only upgrade once you start a new playthrough.

Q: Your mod broke my game!

A: Uninstall this mod and revert to an earlier save.

Q: That's one helluva perk! Just a weee bit overdone, ya think?

A: Actually it's not as powerful as any two of the three perks that you miss out on. You might as well get something decent outta playing the good guy.

Q: What if I've already completed Open Season?

A: No problem. The mod checks for that, checks that you haven't gotten any of the Raider perks, and will retroactively give you the Raider Bogeyman perk if you qualify.

Q: What about Porter Gage's perk, Lessons in Blood?

A: No problem. Roleplaying-wise it makes complete sense to go along with the gangs until they think you're fully on-board, so you can have that perk without penalty.

Q: I play Conqueror. Is this compatible?

A: It should be. It's only concerned about the Open Season quest and if the character has any of the Chosen Disciple, Ace Operator, and Pack Alpha perks. So long as you don't get any of those perks you can get this one - so feel free to wipe out those pathetic rival gangs at any time!
