📋 About This Mod
OVERVIEW
F4SE plugin which fixes critical bugs with rendering related to TAA, motion blur, upscaling and frame generation.
This F4SE plugin fixes many instances of motion vectors which have bad data. Motion vectors are a rendering stage which describes how the current frame compares to the previous one. This breaks temporal effects which require it, such as TAA, motion blur, upscaling and frame generation:
-
[]Not updating when in menus, reflecting last frame before it was opened
[
]Not updating when time is frozen, reflecting last frame before it was frozen[]Incorrect on some opened doors, reflecting unopened door instead
[]Incorrect on the third-person player gun models
- Incorrect on LOD in seen through some interior windows e.g. The Prydwen
These bugs were originally discovered and fixed in the Frame Generation mod. It has been separated to be able to provide these fixes to people who do not want to use frame generation, and to improve maintainability.
Flutter Flicker Fixer For Foliage is strongly recommended for an additional fix

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust (2,362 endorsements, 260k downloads) — this is a go-to fix for rendering issues
- Covers multiple rendering techs in one plugin — TAA, motion blur, upscaling, and frame gen
- Works with all game versions and ENB, so no compatibility headaches
⚠️ Cons
- Requires F4SE — if you're not already using it, you'll need to set that up first
- Last updated December 2025 — if the game updates after that, you might need to wait for a new version
For Fallout 4 players who use TAA, motion blur, upscaling, or frame generation and notice visual artifacts or crashes. Also for ENB users who want to ensure rendering stability. Skip if you play with all those features off and don't use ENB — you won't benefit.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure F4SE is installed correctly and launched via f4se_loader.exe, not the default launcher, or the plugin won't load.
- If you use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2, install the plugin through it to keep your Data folder clean.
- Check the mod's comments section for any known conflicts with specific ENB presets or upscaling tools like FSR or DLSS.
