📋 About This Mod
FAQ
READ THE HOLOTAPE TO GAIN A FULL UNDERSTANDING OF THE RADIO FUNCTIONS-Nothing happens after I install.
Sometimes the scripts don’t start up correctly. To fix, just uninstall this mod, load and save your game, then reinstall.
-Why aren't there as many voice lines a s in Noble team?
Unfortunately, since he is the player character for the majority of the Halo games, his conversation is extremely limited. I did what I could, with what I had.
-Can you port this to Xbox?
Nope, and neither can anyone else.
-Can you do xyz?
Probably not.
-Can you make Cortana a seperate companion?
Nope, don’t want to. She was always intended to be in this exactly as she is now, and I don’t like the idea of her running around as some hard light hologram.
Does not have lip files, I tried to generate them 4 times, but It kept crashing. Only an issue if you put custom armor on (not recommended, as Chief just uses the default CK face)
KNOWN BUGS
-Using the Radio to recruit them while in the Base Camp (and maybe all interiors) causes a lag in the script, and it will take a few seconds for them to actually follow you.
-Hack/Unlock scenes sometimes bug, and they get stuck. No current fix.
-Dismissing to the Base Camp can bug out sometimes. No current fix.
-You can't damage Master Chief, but if you shoot him enough, he'll turn hostile. Haven't figured out how to stop that from happening yet.
My Other Mods
Adds Master Chief and Cortana as a companion duo that doesn't occupy a companion slot, with the ability to swap between 5 different armor sets on the go. A nostalgic crossover for Halo fans, last updated in 2020.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid community approval with 575 endorsements
- No companion slot means you can keep your usual crew
- 5 armor sets give you variety without needing to micromanage inventory
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2020 – might be outdated for the current game version
- No screenshots or videos in the description, so you're flying blind on visuals
For Halo fans who want a bit of Spartan flair in their game without sacrificing a companion slot. Also for players who like having a versatile companion with multiple armor options. Skip if you're not into crossover mods or if you prefer lore-friendly companions.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it doesn't take a companion slot, you can still recruit your usual followers without conflict.
- Use the armor swap feature to match your companion's look to your current mission or environment.
- Check the mod's comments section for any user-reported issues or compatibility notes, since the description is sparse.
