Leveled Raiders

This mod adjusts raiders level, to allow them to use different weapons throughout the progress of the game.

Raiders level is increased, and their health value is manually adjusted to not make them overpowered. The result is: They use a larger variety of weapons. At level 1, raiders use level 1 weapons. But while the player character levels up, the weaponry of the raiders starts being more varied. Also, the raiders health is increased a bit when the player levels up.

As you can see, raiders will have a bit higher health value, but only when the player character has a higher level.

In vanilla, basic raiders have pipe weapons and double barrel shotguns (and melee weapons). With this mod, basic raiders also can have 10mm pistols and hunting rifles, but only when the player character has a higher level. Other types of raiders get larger variety of weapons.

How variable level works:NPCs can have fixed level or variable level. A NPC with variable level will have same level as player character, but limited in the range between his minimun and his maximun.

For example, with this mod: If the player has level 3, a Raider Scum will have level 5. If the player has level 8, a Raider Scum will have level 8. And if the player has level 25, a Raider Scum will have level 15.

When generating a weapon from a leveled list, the weapon is limited by the NPC level.

Also, any NPC gains health +5 for each level.

The "zone" where the NPC spawns may also limit the level of the spawned NPCs, and the zone level may be locked at the player level when had visited this zone for first time in a playthrough. This can be easily fixed using Encounter Zone Recalculation.

Compatbility

This mod makes raiders have higher level weapons from the "raiders weapons list", but this mod doesn't modify this list. It is compatible with mods that modify weapons and leveled lists, but it may be not compatible with mods that modify raiders characters stats.

This mod is fully compatible with Varied Raiders.

Miscellaneous things

If you install this mod mid game, I recommend to wait more than 20 days in a inner cell (all respawnable things will be respawned).

In a modded playthrough, with weapons added lo leveled lists, a higher levels means: Raiders will use many different weapons, specially at high levels. But it depends on what weapon mods you are using.

Also, this mod can be used as a part of Redistribute Weapon Lists - Pipe guns removed (only if you don't like pipe weapons).
