📋 About This Mod
Normally Jet blurs, gives double vision and intensifies colors. This removes the blur and double vision, and in addition one version gives an intense black and white while the other gives stark colors.
The vanilla effect of Jet is to add blur, double vision and intensified color. There are two versions of this mod.
Nuclear Jet Noir:
- removes blur
- removes double vision
- intensifies light directionally
- removes color to create a stark black and white effect
Nuclear Jet Color:
- removes blur
- removes double vision
- intensifies light directionally
- slightly intensifies color
The stronger the natural light where you are the starker the modified light will be. In addition, if you're looking at the shadow side of an object it won't be as severe as if you're looking directly at the lit side. Please see the pictures sections for examples of both day and night as well as in the light and against it.
Because I have linked this to the Jet effect, if you are using a mod like Bullet Time by Registrator 2000 which can be configured to use the Jet effect, you can toggle this mod's effect with a key stroke. For instance, if you're using the Noir version, hitting your hot key will make your game black and white, and hitting it again will restore the color. Alternatively you can actually use the chemical Jet, of course.
First I used the php and shp console commands to find settings I liked, and then I did the final tweaking directly with FO4Edit. I've been overriding the Jet effects in my own game with a personal ESP for months now, but for this mod I also added the light intensity and also added a black and white version.
If you install both versions of my mod to try them both, you should disable one of them in the Mod Manager by unclicking it. Thus you can switch between colored and noir fairly easily by controlling which is active when you start the game.

Compatibility
I do not use ENBs or Reshade, but if you do it should not be a problem because my changes are to the game itself while ENBs and Reshade change the effects after the game has processed it. However, ENBs and Reshade are redundant if you use this. This also works fine with my Nuclear Colors mod. All Nuclear Colors does is add about 20% color saturation, so if you're using Nuclear Colors and this (like I do) the Color version of this mod will be a little more intense than normal.
This also works fine with True storms, Darker Nights and things which change weather. However, I recommend you put my mod last in the order of things which affect colors.
There is no harm installing/uninstalling this mod. I frequently switch between the Noir and the Color version without issues, and uninstalling both likewise would not have problems.
Screen Shots
I'm flagging this mod as skimpy even though it is not related to clothing because some screen shots use skimpy clothing.
