📋 About This Mod
This includes two stand-alone outfits and a body preset:
- Tattered Vault Suit (now with optional body wounds)
- Ripped Shirt
- Bodyslide files for both outfits so you can build them to your own preset
- Fable Sunborn body preset (by default these two outfits will use this preset)
Please note that my outfits include body physics, so I am only offering this as stand-alone because they're both under armors, and you can't use physics under armors unless you also convert your over armors to have physics. I did my best to minimize clipping with a large variety of body presets.
The outfits can be built in the chemistry workstation. However, if you wish to give your character the vault suit before you get the pip-boy you can do it by console commands:
1. prid 14 (this will make sure to point the game to your player character)
2. help tattered 4 armo (this will give you the item ID for the outfit)
3. player.equipitem (no brackets)
Side note: I am aware that the player.* specifies prid 14, but it's good habit to always explicitly set the prid to avoid errors from typos.
Version 1. 1 Changes
I increased the number of vertices in the outfits so they'll fit more snuggly with less clipping for a wider variety of body presets. I also added wound decals to the Tattered Vault suit. You can zap the wounds away in bodyslide if you do not wish to have them.
Female Only
On a male character the outfits will look like unmodified vanilla. I have never played a male character and have nearly no male characters in my Fallout world so don't really have how to make and test male outfits. I apologize to those who were hoping for a male version.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 447 endorsements and over 9,000 downloads
- Physics-enabled outfits add immersion and visual flair
- Optional body wounds give extra customization for a battle-worn look
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2017, so may have compatibility issues with newer game patches or mods
- Requires CBBE body mod, so not for vanilla body users
- Stand-alone outfits may conflict with other mods that alter the same slots
For Fallout 4 players who want a more rugged, post-apocalyptic look for their female character, especially those already using CBBE. If you're into physics-enabled clothing and don't mind a bit of setup, this is a solid pick. Skip if you prefer vanilla-style outfits or don't use body mods.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have CBBE installed and build the outfits in Bodyslide to match your body preset.
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2 to avoid overwriting other clothing mods.
- If you see missing textures, double-check that you've installed the optional files correctly.
