📋 About This Mod
This mod is a collaboration between me and JasonUnruhe. His JU Helmet Collection had some great ideas and I thought with a bit of tweaking it could be even better. With numerous fixes and improvements, this redux version also adds the helmets to Raider levelled lists. All the items are lore-friendly and with my changes have the appearance of something Bethesda made. This mod has no requirements
You have a choice of two versions, the HD one includes textures at the original resolution of 2k. The SD version is closer to vanilla with some textures reduced to 1k diffuse and 512 normal and specular, with main diffuse kept at 2k. There is also an optional esp that makes the helmets craftable in addition to spawning on Raiders.
No scripts are used here as I try to avoid them for various reasons, a patch will be needed if you have anything else that adds headgear for Raiders.
radbeetle has fixed the decap bug, so no more bits of stuff left floating in the air when you pop off heads.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 326 endorsements and over 13,000 downloads
- Gives raiders a fresh look without overhauling the whole game
- Simple cosmetic mod that does exactly what it says
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects raider helmets, so if you're not into raider fashion, this is a pass
- No gameplay changes—purely visual, so don't expect stat boosts
- Potential conflicts with other mods that alter raider armor or leveled lists
For Fallout 4 players who want more visual variety in raider enemies or enjoy dressing up their own raider character. Skip if you're looking for gameplay tweaks or if you rarely interact with raiders.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex or MO2, just download and install—no extra steps needed.
- Check your load order if you have other raider armor mods; place this one after them to ensure the helmets appear.
- Since it's purely cosmetic, you can safely add or remove it mid-playthrough without breaking saves.
