📋 About This Mod
FO4Edit scripts to change NPCs.
Scripts to replace Hair, Hair Color, Beard, and Eyes with a random replacement.
Also has scripts for Remove Face Tint Layers (Cleanup NPCs) and set/remove flag: Is CharGen Face Preset.
This is a Modder's resource/utility.
This does nothing on its own.
Requires working knowledge of FO4edit.
Recommend using an override ESP and backing up ESPs.
Built and tested with FO4Edit 4_1_5f, not sure if older versions will cause issues.
Created for Fallout 4 OldGen, not sure if there will be any issues with NewGen.
I couldn't find any xEdit scripts for Fallout 4 that correctly replaced Hair and dealt with the hair extra parts. Closest I found was some scripts from FiftyTifty's public github repository. So, I created some scripts to perform these functions. Sharing these scripts in-case others find them useful.
To Install:
Extract Archive and copy the Edit Scripts folder to the Edit Scripts folder in the FO4edit directory.
These are scripts to apply changes using Fallout 4 Head Parts and other Hair, Hair Color, Beard, and Eye MODs.
Those MOD are not included and need to be obtained separately.
Most of these scripts use an exported list of the parts to replace.
Included are export scripts to generate the lists.
Pre-generated lists with matching scripts are included, exported from what should be the most current version of the indicated MOD.
The scripts will not run and indicate in Messages if the appropriate MOD for the list is not in the load order.
Scripts will verify list and indicate in Messages if the list will work.
If there is not a pre-generated script for a MOD, then can just export a list from the mod.
Then copy one of the existing replacer scripts and change the input source name under options.
Read notes in scripts for more details.
