📋 About This Mod
Description:
This mod adds 5 playable anthropomorphic feline races with fully animated headparts and some customization options. Available races: Cougar, Cheetah, Lion, Jaguar, Snow Leopard.
With the development of Panthera species, the Jaguar features some of the most well balanced attributes of genetic line. Like their other feline counterparts they possess acute agility and strength, but they are by far the best swimmers, thus providing a diverse range of environmental adaption. In combination with their rosettes black spots, this often assists them in breaking up their silhouette in stealthy encounters to unprepared foes. With all of this in-mind, the jaguar by extension offers superb flexibility in all operations.
While other Panthera of the line may possess greater raw strength, any close encounter should come with extreme caution as they possess the strongest bite force of any Feline known.
"Touch the Jaguar they said, it would be fun they said. They should have said not to take that literally!"
An elusive line of the Panthera, the Snow Leopard (colloquially referred to as "Snep"), finds itself uniquely specialized to its namesake. Developing a fur pattern that naturally camouflages them in the tundra and snowy mountains they are by far the best choice for long-term winter engagements. When lacking equipment their insulation and large paws present excellent snow adaptation for travel or hunkering down regardless of circumstances. They are however the most shy and introverted of the Panthera. Their solitary inclination would make it wise for them to be deployed alone. As single units they traverse distances most marathon runners would view as a juggernaut of a challenge.
"He dangled from the climbing wall with joyous ambition, leading me to ask if he would give a public speech on his technique. From that all I saw was fear struck across his face."
The Puma line of the Cats share similar traits to the jaguar with both species being balanced in their physical performance in their environments. The Cougar finds itself specialized in ambushing and stalking its targets, patiently waiting for the moment to pounce. They are adaptive swimmers as well, but lack the sheer strength of their spotted counterparts. However, they are uniquely gifted in their leap and pounce; any opponent assuming they posses the high ground will find that thought running away as quick as a cheetah, for the Cougar line can leap up to 6 meters in the ar. In addition to these observations, a mutation of them developing saber teeth has been noted.
“She told me age is but a number, and now everyday I am alert to my surroundings for ambush. Which I often fail
