Fallout 3 ambient music

I loved the music for Fallout 3. The soundtrack was always able to leave me feeling helpless and alone in a hostile wasteland. As much as I love Fallout 4, the music has never got to me the way Fallout 3's did. This mod aims to fix that.

What this mod does

This mod ADDS (not replaces, adds!) the soundtrack from Fallout 3 to Fallout 4. Now you can have the haunting Wandering the Wastes playing as you explore the Commonwealth. The advantage of this mod is it adds more variety to the music you'll hear when you turn the radio off.

The areas I've added FO3 music to are:

This mod is still in beta, so I'm quite keen to get feedback. Have I chosen the right places for the music to play? Are there any other places the music should play? Are any tracks playing too frequently, or not frequently enough? Let me know.

Unfortunately, for obvious reasons, I cannot distribute the Fallout 3 OST, so this mod contains no music. You'll need to make sure you own a copy of the Fallout 3 OST or a PC copy of Fallout 3. This mod contains an esp that will recognise the music files from Fallout 3.

What you need to do

You need to make sure you have a copy of the Fallout 3 OST or the music files from Fallout 3. They can be found in the folders Base, Battle, Dungeon, Explore, Public and Special (for the MainTitle file), in the folder \Fallout 3 goty\Data\Music.

You'll need to make sure the music files are converted to .wav files (there are countless ways to do this, I recommend you google it), and you'll need to make sure they are named properly (so that the mod can read them). You'll need to manually add the music files to the folder this mod adds, Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Music\FO3.

I've included a picture of what the filestructure should look like, and how the files should be named. It is EXTREMELY important that you have the files named according to the picture, otherwise the mod won't be able to find them and you may get crashes. If you have used the files from Fallout 3 they should already have the correct names. If you used the files from the OST, you will need to manually change their names.
