📋 About This Mod
What Does This Mod Do?
Including dozens of named, unique NPCs out in the Commonwealth, this mod seeks to change their NPC status to essential. No longer will they die on their own, nor accidentally be blown to bits by you. This mainly focuses on named settlers, legendary merchants, named animals at settlements, and several others. Another major perk of this mod is that all of these NPC's are combined into one .esl file. This means it will not count towards your total mod plugin limit.
Professor Goodfeels Fix
This mod also includes a complete fix to Professor Goodfeels, who would previously disappear from Sunshine Tidings Co-Op after you leave the settlement. Now he will be essential, as well as no longer leave your game.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid endorsement count (345) shows players appreciate the fix.
- Simple concept that solves a real annoyance—no more losing named settlers.
- Lightweight and likely low-impact on performance.
⚠️ Cons
- Only covers named settlers, so other essential NPCs might still be vulnerable.
- Potential conflicts with other mods that alter NPC status or spawns.
- No recent updates since May 2024, so compatibility with latest game patches is uncertain.
For Fallout 4 players who are tired of named settlers dying in random attacks or from your own explosives. If you value keeping your settlement population intact, this is a must-have. Skip if you don't care about NPC survival or use mods that already make all NPCs essential.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Load this mod after other NPC overhaul mods to ensure its changes take priority.
- Check if you have any mods that alter settler names or spawns—they might conflict.
- If you use a mod manager, enable this mod and let it overwrite conflicting files.
