📋 About This Mod
A hand crank war crime machine that has too many features.
The Desecrator. A weapon born of madness, cobbled together from the scraps and dregs of the past. The poisons of the old world seeped into the earth, the sea, the sky, blackening and tainting all it touches, and all it took was 200 years (and probably a lot of psychotats) for this insidious Ruin to be harnessed, collected by ramshackle machines to be weaponized by even more crude devices.
This wretched machine is highly adaptable, with some tinkering it can fire spikes made of condensed heavy metals and toxins, spray clouds of virulent poison or lob streams of chemicals to blight the battlefield, by some bizarre combination of components within the pollution it can be augmented with a large variety of elements, and by accidental science so advanced only the Institute could understand it, it even allows for some of the projectiles to seek foes.
-How to use-
To properly utilize these weapons, one must build a few "Pollutant Extractors" within their settlements to begin collecting the Raw pollution one needs to refine into the ammo and certain accessories at a Chemistry Workbench, one may also recycle this raw pollution into a handful of different materials. I'm sure that I didn't make it absurdly overpowered at all.
These infernal contraptions are rare, only used by small, specialized groups within certain factions.
The Children Of Atom revere these instruments for their affinity with Atom's blessing, extracting his essence from the soil and forming them into glowing spikes, only the "Bishops", specialized holy protectors clad in tattered robes and radioactive censers that can heal their allies and irradiate their foes, are dedicated enough to maintain them. They can be found at the Nucleus
The Disciples relish in its brutality, using non elemental spikes and large bayonets to torture their victims, those that wield them are known as "Martyrs" masochists that underwent horrific ritual amputations to prove their loyalty, clad in tight bindings and bandages outfitted with prosthetic legs and spiked armor to give them a terrifying visage. They defend the Disciples base at Fizztop Mountain
And finally the Exterminators, a very small group (that I think I only placed two of because I had surprisingly few Ideas for locations) of mercenaries that specialize in "pest removal". Clad in special poison resistant suits, they use their fumigators to spray toxins at infestations of whatever "pests" they are hired to remove. One can be found at the Corvega Factory, and another in the Fens Street Sewers.
DISCLAIMER: there's a decent chance it might be a buggy broken mess due to the Next Gen update, and me struggling to downgrade it after the fact, but there's also a chance that it works perfectly fine, I just don't know anymore. this whole mod has been such a mess that it took me better part of three months just to get it mostly fu
