I'd love to hear more ideas for settings/presets!
This mod works very well in combination with Survival mode! Instead of losing hours of progress on death, you are able to respawn at a settlement and recover your things.
Note: The Mod is not enabled until you acquire a settlement

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid community support with 439 endorsements and over 14k downloads.
- Adds meaningful customization to a core game mechanic.
- Fits well for players who want to tweak difficulty or roleplay.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2018, so it may not be compatible with the latest game patches.
- No detailed feature list provided, so you'll need to test in-game to see all options.
- Potential conflicts with other gameplay overhaul mods that alter death or respawn systems.
For Fallout players who want to tweak the death penalty to be more forgiving or more punishing. Great for roleplayers who want to control what they lose on death. Skip if you're happy with the vanilla death system or prefer mods that add new content rather than modify mechanics.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to check the mod's load order; place it after other gameplay mods to avoid conflicts.
- Test the mod in a save where you don't mind dying to see how the customization works.
- If you're using a mod manager, enable the mod and let it overwrite any conflicting files.
