📋 About This Mod
~Croup Manor Settler Rescue~
So... after exterminating the ghouls at Croup Manor and putting up that settler beacon, I find that my settlers keep wandering off the edge of the cliff and ending up in the water (either that or they're actually spawning down there, which would be stupidity on Bethesda's part). They can't go around the cliff t0 walk back up the main driveway (that would take them way out of the settlement bounds), and so just sorta stand around down there moaning about how hungry they are.
I decided that after having done all the work at Croup Manor with rdunlap to actually fix these places up, that I could try making a fix for this - we examined moving the spawn point itself, but there doesn't appear to be a placed spawn down there, so I did the next best thing and made a way for them to get back up to the house on their own.
This is visually a pretty nice area, so I tried to keep the visual impact of what I was doing as low-key as possible, and tried to thematically tie it in with the rest of the area - there's all the piers at Nahant just down the road, and sunken boats and docks everywhere else - you can already see like 6 boats just from the cliff on a nice day, so I gave the Manor a boat slip with a matching staircase - I used to live on Figure Eight Island in North Carolina, and have seen plenty of houses that have their own private docks, and so I tried to make this look as close to those as I could remember. There was a sunken boat in the water near Croup Manor (actually, there are two), but you really couldn't even see it, so I moved it up and over to the new dock - it's still sunken, but at least it's visually a part of the area now, instead of being hidden.
#### v1. 1 Update! We fixed the spawn point and navmeshed the stairs - the settlers shouldn't actually spawn down at the bottom of the cliff anymore, and with the new navmeshing, if a settler ends up down there (they can still fall off the rocks), then they can properly navigate the stairs to get back up top.
I also changed the pilings to actual pilings, so that funky one-off that was under the stairs is gone.
These fixes (and the new dock) are also in the Rebuilt Croup Manor and Rebuilt Series Prewar Houses mods - if you use either of those, then you don't need this mod.
#### Made with FO4Edit
Fixes a pathing issue at Croup Manor in Fallout 4 by giving settlers a way to return to the settlement area. A small, focused bug fix with strong community support (1,051 endorsements).

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved fix with over 1,000 endorsements
- Solves a real annoyance for settlement builders
- Tiny mod that does exactly what it says
⚠️ Cons
- Only addresses one settlement's issue

- Potential conflicts with mods that overhaul Croup Manor
For Fallout 4 settlement builders who've watched settlers get stuck at Croup Manor. If you're tired of fast-traveling to find your settlers stranded, this is a must-have. Skip if you don't build at Croup Manor or use a settlement overhaul that already fixes pathing.
