📋 About This Mod
Description
Just like the Replacer - Cross_Courser Strigidae mod, this mod makes the Institute Coursers wear the outfit from the Courser Strigidae mod but the main difference is that I made leveled lists for different colors and I didn't remove the ability to craft the outfit from the Chemistry Station.
You may need to start a new game for the outfits to appear for already existing Coursers. Newly spawned Coursers should work as intended.
-
[]Coursers will appear with the Courser Strigidae outfit (Applies to all NPCs that use "InstituteCourserOutfit")

[](Styles v1. 1) The Strigidae Coat and Suit pieces will appear with different styles, in addition to the colors

Requirements
Cross_Courser Strigidae + Skin Pack (REQUIRED; If you don't have the skin pack the Urban and Shadow skins are gonna look really bad)

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 204 endorsements and over 9k downloads.
- Adds visual variety to a faction that's otherwise uniform.
- Lightweight and easy to install—just drop it in your mod manager.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects Courser outfits—if you're not fighting Coursers often, you'll barely notice it.
- No screenshots or detailed previews in the description, so you're flying blind on the color choices.
- Compatibility risk with other mods that alter Courser outfits or Institute NPC appearances.
For Fallout 4 players who want to break up the monotony of Institute Courser encounters with some color variety. If you're into lore-friendly tweaks or just like seeing different outfits on enemies, this is a nice touch. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes or if you rarely engage with Coursers.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2 to install—it's just a simple plugin file.
- If you're on PC, make sure you have the game's DLC or updates that include the Courser Strigidae outfit, or the mod won't have anything to replace.
- Check your load order—place this mod after any other mods that modify Institute NPCs to ensure it takes effect.
